现代国内外的彩涂机组对于带材的涂层施工,基本上都采用两次涂层和两次烘干的过程,即两涂两烘工艺,其中用于底漆(即涂敷于钢带表面的第一层漆膜)施工的涂机被称作初涂机。
初涂机主要用于带材正面和背面底漆的涂敷,同时根据生产工艺的要求,初涂机也可为带材的印花提供底漆。
一般来说,底涂层的厚度都比较薄,因此初涂机的底涂头和面涂头均采用二辑式涂头布置。另外影响到涂层表面质量的因素中,主要有涂料的黏度、稀释剂的比例以及湿膜的厚度,其中对涂机来说,通过调整涂头各辊之间、涂敷辊与支撑辊之间的辊缝压力,可以控制涂层的湿膜厚度。

wet film thickness of the coating can be controlled by adjusting the gap pressure between the rollers of the coating head and between the coating roller and the support roller.
