1:国外流行的施工方法

防水层结构：自粘层+聚酯无纺布+防晒涂层
施工方法：将自粘层直接粘贴在彩板上，然后涂高档防晒漆+聚酯无纺布+两种高档防晒漆。
防水原理：用自粘层将原色板上所有裂缝、钉子和孔洞密封。无纺布能抵抗色板的剪切力和膨胀力。防晒涂料既能抵抗太阳紫外线，又对防水层起到保护作用。
优点：防水层作为一个整体，油漆层可以改变成各种颜色，以达到与原有住宅屋顶相同的颜色。使用寿命长。
缺点：施工时间长，工程造价高。
2：国内设计院普遍采用的施工方法
防水层结构：PE膜+PVC防水膜
施工方法：将聚乙烯薄膜作为防潮层放置在彩板上，铺设保温板，用自攻钉固定PVC防水膜，用焊机焊接边缘接缝。
PVC防水膜无缝覆盖整个屋顶。
优点：屋顶防水层成为一个整体。
缺点：防水层采用自攻钉固定，宽度大于2米。整个屋顶的防水层是空的。防水层一旦损坏一点，平时就要通风，屋顶的整个防水层都会被彻底破坏。施工要求高，难度大。
4：常用的传统施工方法
防水层结构：聚酯非织造布+防晒涂料
施工方法：油漆施工时，先铺上聚酯无纺布，再刷上防晒漆，定型后再刷防晒漆。
防水原理：涂料直接封闭在彩板屋顶上，聚酯无纺布起到张力作用，防水层表面成为一个整体。
优点：成本低，施工方便。
缺点：
首先，由于市场上生产屋面专用防水涂料的厂家很少，施工单位大多采用普通防水涂料。因此，防水层很快失去防水功能。

其次，市场上没有聚酯无纺布，施工单位只能用普通无纺布代替，普通无纺布基本上没有抗拉力，只是填充。
