新标准《洁净厂房设计规范》（gb50073-2001）中洁净室的屋面板、墙板（含夹层材料）应为不燃材料，不得使用有机复合材料。屋顶的耐火极限不应小于0.4h，疏散走廊屋顶的耐火极限不应小于1.0h，隔墙及其相应屋顶的耐火极限不应小于1.0h。新标准对洁净室彩钢板提出了更高的要求。
