彩钢板的耐温极限为-40~120，在此范围内，彩钢板可以安全、正常使用，但如果超出此范围，彩钢板仍可使用，但其使用寿命将不同程度降低！
在非明火条件下，FRP在达到150之前没有明显变化。当温度超过150℃达到175℃左右时，玻璃钢照明板的颜色没有明显变化，但灯板略有软化。此时，是玻璃钢照明板的热变形温度。
当温度到200左右时，彩钢板颜色略有变化，表面薄膜有微小气泡；当温度达到400左右时，树脂碳化，外观变成棕黄色。连续加热后，炭化更严重，颜色由棕黄色变为深黑色。当温度超过600时，树脂将碳化，树脂完全碳化并完全燃烧，只留下玻璃纤维的残留物。
一般来说，火灾时烟气温度不会对玻璃钢照明面板造成损坏。只有当采光板附近有大明火时，照明板才会迅速燃烧，室内的烟雾才会排出。
阻燃型采光板在非明火条件下加热后具有与普通照明板相同的特性，但比普通照明板更容易泛黄。在明火条件下，二次阻燃采光板遇明火有轻微燃烧，离开火源后迅速熄灭。一级阻燃照明板遇明火燃烧比二级阻燃更困难，离开火源后更容易扑灭。

The flame-retardant daylighting board has the same characteristics as the ordinary lighting board after heating under non open fire conditions, but it is easier to yellowing than the ordinary lighting board. Under the condition of open fire, the secondary flame retardant daylighting panel has slight combustion when encountering open fire, and it will extinguish itself quickly after leaving the fire source. It is more difficult to burn the first grade fire-retardant lighting panel than the second-class flame-retardant when exposed to open fire, and it is easier to extinguish after leaving the fire source.
